(Action from Bracknell Bees Vs Invicta Dynamos in Sunday Night's Division One (Britton) clash which the hosts won in overtime, thanks to Kevin Slyfield for the photo)

Another weekend of Hockey action has taken place in the NIHL South Divisions and so here is a round up of what happened, starting in the Division One (Britton) section:-

Peterborough Phantoms 3-2 Swindon Wildcats (OT)

Sunday 22nd October
Bracknell Bees 7-6 Invicta Dynamos (OT)
Streatham 3-4 Basingstoke Bison

Autumn Cup Group 2
Swindon Wildcats 3-2 Hull Pirates (OT)

Division One (Britton) Latest Standings:-
1. Peterborough Phantoms Played 8 Won 8 Pts 16

7. London Raiders Played 5 Won 2 Pts 4
8. Streatham Played 8 Won 1 Pts 2
9. Cardiff Fire Played 9 Won 0 Pts 0

The big game on Saturday between the top two went the way of Peterborough Phantoms as they remain with a 100% record after an overtime win over Swindon Wildcats, who drop to third.  This was after Bracknell Bees had two wins at the weekend although they were both close encounters against London Raiders and then Invicta Dynamos with the latter an overtime victory.  The Wildcats did at least grab an overtime win of their own on Sunday, edging a tight contest against Hull Pirates in the Autumn Cup Group 2, which saw them increase their lead at the top of that group.  Basingstoke Bison are the only other 100% side in the division after they edged a seven goal encounter at Streatham on Sunday, this being the hosts seventh defeat in eight league games.  Streatham did at least taste victory this weekend though in the National Cup Group C where they defeated Invicta Dynamos on the road to make it four wins from four in that particular competition.

Here are next weekend's fixtures:-

Swindon Wildcats 2 3-6 Guildford
Basingstoke Buffalo 2-14 Oxford City Stars
Cardiff Fire 2 7-1 Lee Valley Lions

Sunday 22nd October

9. Basingstoke Buffalo Played 6 Won 2 Pts 4
10. Bristol Pitbulls Played 4 Won 1 Pts 2

12. Invicta Mustangs Played 7 Won 1 Pts 2
13. Swindon Wildcats 2 Played 5 Won 0 Pts 0
14. Lee Valley Lions Played 6 Won 0 Pts 0

Just like their first team counterparts, the Peterborough Phantoms 2 are 100% after six games following a crushing win over bottom side Lee Valley Lions, who remain bottom with six defeats from six following that loss and also another thrashing at Cardiff Fire 2 the day before.  Oxford City Stars moved up into third spot after they destroyed Basingstoke Buffalo on the road in Hampshire and Guildford are up to fourth following their win on the road at Swindon Wildcats 2, who themselves remain second bottom having lost all five of their games.  Solent Devils made it four wins from five after they mauled the Bristol Pitbulls in the South West to climb into sixth spot and Slough Jets grabbed their first win of the season after an overtime win over Invicta Mustangs and move above them in the table on points difference.

Here are next weekend's fixtures:-
Saturday 28th October

Solent Devils Vs Chelmsford Chieftains
Invicta Mustangs Vs Cardiff Fire 2

Sunday 29th October
